Short

Graduated from the Ljubljana Faculty of Architecture and started her work as a researcher at the Institute for Architecture and Physical Planning in Ljubljana in 2003. In 2007 she was awarded a Fulbright scholarship and continued her research in the field of architecture and politics at Columbia University, GSAPP in New York for two years as a visiting researcher. She defended her Ph.D. thesis in 2009 at the Ljubljana Faculty of Architecture. From October 2009 to May 2013 she was teaching at the Academy of Design in Ljubljana. From October 2010 to February 2012 she participated in  the European Culture Project “Unfinished Modernizations,” in 2012 she prepared a research project “Stories of the Slovene Parliament” and was involved in preparing architectural research for the 2013 Slovenian pavilion at the Art Biennale in Venice. Since 2013 working as an assistant and researcher at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana and since 2014 enrolled in the Ph.D. program Comparative Studies of Ideas and Cultures at ZRC SAZU Ljubjana.

Born in 1978 in Celje, graduated from the Ljubljana Faculty of Architecture in 2003. In the following year she began her work as a researcher at the Institute for Architecture and Physical Planning and started postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana. In 2007 she was awarded a Fulbright scholarship and continued her research in the field of architecture and politics at Columbia University, Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation in New York for two years as a visiting researcher. She defended her Ph.D. thesis ”Architecture of Vinko Glanz—Between Classicism and Modernism” in 2009 at the Ljubljana Faculty of Architecture under the mentorship of Vojteh Ravnikar and Mary McCleod. From October 2009 to June 2013 she was teaching at the Academy of Design in Ljubljana and continued to do research in the field of architecture, politics, and public space. She participated in the research project Sustainable Engineering at the Faculty of Architecture from 2011 to 2013 and from October 2010 to February 2012 she participated in  the European Culture Project “Unfinished Modernizations.” In 2012 she prepared a research project “Stories of the Slovene Parliament” in collaboration with the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and published a scientific monograph “Parliament—architecture, art, memory” with the Contemporary History Museum of Slovenia. In 2013 she was involved in preparing architectural research for the Slovenian pavilion at the Art Biennale in Venice. Since 2013 working as an assistant and researcher at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana and since 2014 enrolled in the Ph.D. program Comparative Studies of Ideas and Cultures at ZRC SAZU Ljubjana.
